Yes some meat can contain gluten – I go over that in another section (See All About Gluten). If you don’t eat meat well I’m sorry. So these recipes will hopefully help those that are gluten free but have gluten eaters in their house too.
Things to keep in mind when cooking gluten free – if you put a sauce on it and it’s “dark” or “brown” in color – chances are it has gluten in it. If it’s white I’d be willing to bet money it has gluten in it. Basically, you have to change some things around like Soy Sauce and the kinds of BBQ sauce you use. This doesn’t mean you can’t have BBQ – just means you have to possibly change from the brand of sauce that you used.
Some things you find here you could possibly make into a side dish if you were having a big family meal or celebration. I try to include details about things reheating and freezing. Let’s face it – if you have left overs who wants to have something that doesn’t taste great reheated or can be frozen and reheated well.
