Betty Crocker Gluten-Free Brownies are made dairy-free egg-free that taste great!
Brownies!
Who doesn’t love brownies? I don’t know about you, but I grew up in a house where mom always had a box mix for brownies in the pantry. When I got my own kitchen, I did the same. Then I had to go gluten-free. Wait what does that mean for brownies?
Depending on which grocery store you go to you may find gluten-free mixes on the shelves with all the other mixes. You have to look!
Just like with anything else gluten-free you pay more for it. I always try to have one of these in my pantry. I’ve found it at Smith’s mainly. They have things in both their gluten-free section and mixed in on the shelves. You can also try Albertson’s or Walmart.
I have usually enjoyed Betty Crocker things, so I tried this. Boy I was NOT disappointed! The box doesn’t tell you, but the batter has little chocolate chips in it.
You could eat just the brownie – or scoop some of your favorite frozen yogurt or ice cream (dairy-free ice cream) on top and have a real treat! Great item to take to potlucks at work. I do live at 5,500 feet above sea level – and there are special instructions for that. If you live at a high altitude, I suggest you follow those instructions if you want to have them turn out delicious every time!
