Being gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free has been the hardest part of enjoying meals with people because I enjoy making dessert. Baking was the first thing in cooking my mother taught me when I was a little girl. When I was ten, I baked a chocolate cake from scratch (no mix). Entered the cake in the county fair to win first place. Peanut Butter Cookies that I have made won ribbons too.
